    Answer: ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PUT CAST IRON IN A DISHWASHER. You will end up with a rusty mess. It should be handwashed with mild soapy water. Dried immediately. Then a light coat of oil to help prevent rust. I recommend heating it up again after washing to evaporate any remaining water.
  • Question: Can this be used under a grill/broiler?

    Answer: Use under a grill but I don't know what a broiler is?
  • Question: Where is it made?

    Answer: I am not sure but I have been very happy with this purchase. It's as good as any cast iron cooking equipment I have bought before.

    Answer: Yes, it will work.
  • Question: Is it suitable for frying steaks?

    Answer: Yes, perfect for frying steaks as it leaves nice lines in the meat if you get it hot before placing meat on.
