    Answer: Yes, they are opaque and you can use them as a legging, but they are warmer than a legging. I used them under my jeans and they are very warm in the cold New York's winter.

    Answer: They are not fleece lined but are nice and soft. The fiber content is a two-layer thermal - 60% Cotton / 40% polyester bi-ply jersey.
