What is the height of this item? In other words, when it is in place how high is the blade off the tabletop?
Answer: I used a biscuit joiner set for about a half in depth. They work very well. Best to get some and experiment for yourself. A half inch worked for me but if you need more pressure when screwing down you may choose a little more depth. Hope that helps.
