    Answer: The collar is 1/2-inch wide.
  • Question: How should I clean the collar?

    Answer: Machine wash the collar in warm water with mild soap, avoiding bleach or bleach alternatives. Air dry afterwards.
  • Question: What are people doing to keep the collar size adjustment from slipping?

    Answer: Usually, if a collar won't hold its sizing, it's because the triglide (the square adjustment piece) has cracked. The Basics material is softer and slipperier that the other materials we use, but the way we build the collar, it should stay adjusted the way you want it. You have to look pretty close to see a crack. If you continue to have difficulty, please contact us!
  • Question: Are you able to take the sliplock off the collar or is the nylon stitched together around the sliplock?

    Answer: It is stitched together.
  • Question: Can I use this collar for my cat? Is it a breakaway collar?

    Answer: It is not a breakaway collar and it may be a little thick for a cat. We recommend using Top Paw dog collars for cats.
