- Any size tubing between 3/16 and 5/8 (4.75 mm and 16 mm) O.D. can be flared thanks to a special, self-adjusting tube holding mechanism. Innovative flare bars with a single hole are more convenient to use and compact than flaring bars with several openings. Debarring is not necessary because the faceted, chrome-finished, hardened steel cone rolls out and burnishes a precise 45° flare above the tube-holding mechanism. At the flare's base, the original wall thickness is preserved. The self-centering yoke that slips on allows for use in confined spaces. Flaring is made simple by the large handle, increased leverage, and precision threading on the feed screw. Superior build finished with satin chrome and black. Wt. 1.75 lbs.
