Wolf Tooth Stems Editorial Review

The Wolf Tooth Compression Plug is a handy tool for those looking for an easy-to-install solution to secure their stem cap. It even comes with an integrated spacer stem cap that saves you from buying a separate stem cap. Installation is simple, but it's important to note that the insert must be pretightened before installation. However, it should be noted that the plug may experience slight movements if the stem has any movement, which can cause it to wiggle out and cause a creak. This may be inconvenient for riders who regularly crash or ride hard. Additionally, securing the plug requires using a vise grip to hold it while tightening the inner 8mm bolt, which is not the most optimal design. Overall, the Wolf Tooth Compression Plug with Integrated Spacer Stem Cap is a decent option for those looking for a quick and easy installation solution, but may not be the most secure and reliable option for intense riding conditions.
