Answer: Yes, more trail running. They're okay for street but can feel a little bulky compared to what I would typically run in the street with. Great traction though, wet or dry. Feet stay dry! -

I've worn keen targhee iii in the past for landscape construction & gardening work. could these hold up to that work for at least one year?
Answer: The construction on this model is very strong. I use them daily to walk in the mountains, gravel, mud and concrete pavement. It has been nearly a year, they are still in mint condition. -

Answer: I wear a 9. I ordered a 9. They fit great. -

Answer: Most keen are already wide. It’s why we love them. I bought these. Automatically my fav shoe. -

Why does post advertise for $69.99 but page says $159.99?
Answer: HI; only certain sizes will be that price. -

Would these be good for Special Operations teams? Will be operating in jungle environment with third-world urban areas.
Answer: Not as good as the Salomon XA Forces GTX or the Mid GTX. Salomon trail shoes IMHO are more pliant and provide better support and protection from heel to toe and fabric are more pliant thus better to wear in harsh conditions than the KEENs.
