It has a 500W PEP power rating that is suitable for SSB/CW and about 200W for AM. The relays are reasonably quiet and much quieter than the MFJ auto tuner relays. It's essential to note that while this tuner may work with high SWR antennas, it can cause problems such as generating QRM and causing power output cutback. Hence, it's necessary to stay under the rating, adjust the tune button momentarily for faster tuning, and touch 10 watts max to avoid overdriving while tuning.
