The tubing starts off at 1/2 inch and shrinks down and is available in a roll of 50 feet. The operating temperature rating is between 600F and 900F. It is safe to use at near 1000F but may over-harden if exposed to this level of heat for a length of time (over 30 min.). The tubing is resistant to gasoline but it is not recommended to leave it submerged in gasoline. The voltages rating is not listed so it is not recommended to use this tubing to insulate bare, live wire. It is suggested to contact the seller if an MSDS sheet is needed. The tubing can work to provide a stiff tip for cordage so that it can be threaded through a grommet easily. **
