The CRKT V.A.S.P. Folding Pocket Knife boasts a slim design that makes it easy to carry around in a pocket. The blade length is perfect and it is very easy to use. While cost saving measures were employed in the handle material, this does not detract from the overall quality of the knife. Additionally, the knife has a really nice price point that makes it affordable to many customers. However, there is an issue with the detent being weak, which means that the knife can be easily opened and dropped, especially if used in NY where it could be classified as a "gravity knife" . This makes it less reliable than other pocket knives of a similar price point. The small surface area exposed on the spring steel blade lock could also be a bit of an issue when it comes to unlocking the knife. Overall, the CRKT V.A.S.P. Folding Pocket Knife is a great knife for the price, with a sharp blade and sturdy build.
