Ad says fan is rated at 1 Amp, but also that controller is rated at 2 Amp. Will the fan get burnt out at maximum settings?
Answer: No, you cannot push a higher amp to the fan. The fan can take up to 1 amp from a source, and the controller is able to provide up to 2 amps. Providing a higher voltage than what the fan can tolerate would burn the fan. However, running the fan at max speed should not be a problem.
