Unless there is a reason why that would not apply to a carbon frame it is not obvious why that would not work. It works well on my non-carbon frame. -

Does this come with accurate instructions as to how to use the tool?
Answer: I think so, but there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube. This is the best tool for alignment if the hanger. I could never get my gears right, used this tool on it and was horrified how bent it was, but you just can’t see it with the naked eye.
