Whitetail Institute Tall Tine Tubers Deer Food Plot Seed is an excellent choice for those looking to attract and hold deer throughout the fall and winter. It offers two types of food sources that are sure to keep the deer interested. The planting time depends on the location, but mid-July to mid-August is usually the best time. The product needs direct sunlight for at least a few hours a day to grow. The recommended soil PH range is between 5.7 to 7. The seed must be planted each year, and Round-Up or RM18 can be used with a recommended wait of 30-45 days before planting. Customer Experience: Most customers have had excellent experiences with this product, with good growth noted within a few weeks of planting. The packaging is great, and the product easy to plant with a handheld spreader. Some customers had minimal growth, but that could be due to planting too early or not prepping the plot site correctly. A few reported great results with other Whitetail products and plan to continue purchasing this product yearly. The seed is not Round-Up ready, and it must be planted each year.
