Digital Coating Thickness Gauge CM-208FN is an automatic thickness paint meter designed for steel and aluminum. The kit includes a plastic case, calibration materials and a convex measuring probe that can be pressed against the surface of a metallic base, making it convenient to measure on curved surfaces. The gauge supports measurement in both mils and microns. Customer experience and reception of the product has been positive overall. Customers appreciated that the product is accurate and easy to use, and comes at a fair price. It was found to be helpful in finding areas of repaint. It was also noted that it is difficult to find meters that are accurate for less than $500, and this one is pretty good. However, there were a few issues with the disk provided not being supported by some computer systems, and the software driver being unable to load.
