However, this is where the positives end. The writing and acting in Orgies of Edo are both mediocre at best. The female lead character is particularly poorly written and portrayed. This means that while the movie may look good, it is difficult to become invested in the story or characters. Reviews: - Waste of time and glad I rented --- but not really worth watching or renting. - I did not finish watching the movie because of SERVICE-ERROR. I want my money back. Thank you. - Soo bad, I watched just for a minute. - Poorly written and poorly acted. Female lead character ("ootmi" or something like that) was just an idiot. Turned it off after struggling through half. - The DVD was delivered in time and runs well. - 3 very good short stories
