The Schumacher SC1361 6/12V Fully Automatic Battery Charger and 6A Maintainer is a great tool for keeping batteries charged and recharging them when needed. It has an auto-setting that can be used for a 50-amp quick start or a 10-amp quick boost. The charger can be used on cars such as Ford F-350 as well as E250 campervans, even if they have been sitting for several months. It has 82-inch long leads and can charge a car battery that has been depleted. The SC1361 comes back on automatically when the power is restored. However, it has to be plugged in as it is not portable for jump-starting cars. Feedback from customers has been mixed. Some reviewers reported that the charger was excellent for keeping battery charged and/or recharging batteries. One buyer found the cord length to be excellent and started charging their dead battery, which was fully charged within two hours. Another customer revealed the product was a great deal, thanks to the auto shut off after the fully charged feature. However, some customers reported that the product arrived defective, and it had to be recharged on the 2-6A setting instead of the 10A setting. A few customers had issues with the product's quality, such as scratches or missing screws. One customer stated they wouldn't recommend it and suggested a different unit.
