Answer: I am unsure what u mean by 21/31 cubic in, I bought this cartilage for my 100 gallon per day aquatic life ro filter and have since put out hundreds of gallons of 0ppm water, it has started changing color but still has long way to go, without the di cartilage the filter puts out 15ppms with the intake water being just under 200ppm -

How often do i need to replace this cartridge?
Answer: It's refillable. Top cap is removable and replacement resin may be purchased much cheaper than a cartridge. Depends on amount of water passed through it as well as how contaminated it may be. -

Will I need to purchase any tubing or any other additional pieces aside from the RO Buddie itself?
Answer: Yes you will need extra tubing for the r/o buddie. I just got my r/o buddy a few days ago. Make sure you cut the tubing clean. Otherwise it will leak. first 10 gallons have been 0 ppm. And my saltwater tank looks amazing. -
Question:
My cartridge does not remotely look green, it's more like a shimmering black, purple, and blue. Anyone else had that problem?
Answer: Is it blue when new or it turned blue? Mine is green. I think if it's blue it's used. -

Answer: It lasts about 100 gallons before they change color and need to be replaced -

Does this come with a bracket to attach it to the RO Buddie?
Answer: Yes this does come with the bracket. Also this resin was shot after first full on my aquarium. 120 gallons... should last longer! It works great though. This system took my tds from 168ppm to 0!! -

How long does if take for the color to change? Mine almost fully changed after 1 use with only 15 gallons pumped through.
Answer: The color is a bad indicator. Get a TDS meter. Mine was reading sub 5 for about 6 months. -

How much resin do I put in cartridge when replacing?? Also do I pack it in or just fill it up?
Answer: I just fill it all the way up. About 3 cups of resin, but recently when I put the cap back, It was broken. I have to came back to use dual refillable resin cartridge-canister. -
Question:
Assuming I have 30tds from my ro unit. How long will this di unit last?
Answer: My tap water usually runs 100-122. Servicing two three gallon micro tanks this cartridge lasted over a year. Also the cap is removable and the DI medium can be purchased for a much more reasonable cost than buying a complete cartridge. Also consider at least a couple times I forgot to turn the water off and my container overflowed and for overnight ran down the drain. Hope this is of help.
