Savage Continuous Output Lighting LED-ELLG Editorial Review
The Savage Edge Lit Pro LED Light garners mixed reviews from users, with many appreciating its performance for photography and video applications, while others express significant frustrations with reliability issues. The light is noted for its effective luminosity and versatility, functioning well as both a battery-operated and AC-powered solution. Users particularly enjoy its adjustable color temperature, making it suitable for various shooting conditions, especially for natural light portraits. However, a prevalent concern among users is the product's reliability, with complaints regarding the light randomly cutting off during use, even when the battery is full. This seems to be a common issue, which has led some to question the product's overall quality and Savage’s commitment to supporting it in light of its discontinuation. Additionally, many reviewers criticize the included ball head mount, described as inadequate for holding the light securely. Instead, users recommend investing in a better mount for optimal performance. In summary, while the Savage Edge Lit Pro LED Light offers excellent luminosity and flexibility for the price, issues with reliability and subpar mounting hardware may make potential buyers Consider alternative options. **
