Tops Axes & Hatchets TPVIAX01 Editorial Review
The Tops VIAX-01 VI Ax is a high-quality and well-crafted piece. It is praised for its incredible quality and craftsmanship, and the price is considered great. However, some customers have noticed that the leaf blade is bent at the tip, which was not mentioned in the listing. Overall, the axe is highly regarded, although there are some concerns about its grip being too skinny and its weight distribution being odd. Some customers feel that it is not very practical for chopping wood or throwing. Additionally, the attachment options for the sheath are not very good, but can be modified. Despite these minor drawbacks, the Tops VIAX-01 VI Ax is considered a heavy-duty axe that chops well and hits hard. It is compact and packable, making it a great option for survival situations. The axe is praised for its sharpness and ability to chop through anything. The rear spike is seen as sharp and useful, but caution is advised to avoid accidental stabs.
