Answer: Thes are made in Korea so this is translated. I believe they just mean they are high performance or good quality. Which they are. -

Answer: Yes, I would recommend it for a mailman. Don't expect it to keep your fingers warm. As for dexterity, it's great. -

Are these usable for painting and staining so I don’t go thru so many disposable ones?
Answer: I would think they would be okay so long as you are not dipping them into the paint or stain. These do have a pretty tight weave. The palm part has a rubbery covering so that would definitely be protected. -
