The Donner DED-300 electronic drum set is a decent entry-level set with a mini USB output to connect to a computer and can be played along with your own music through a 3.5mm port. The kit has been recently released and has dual-zone toms, and you can use 1/4 inch cables to plug into an interface. The kit also works with ezdrummer2, and you can tighten hex screws using the key that comes with the set. The product is of good quality with a reasonable price, according to customer reviews. The kit produces decent sounds and has many different sounds; the three crashes/ride cymbals are an added advantage at this price point. The kit is easy to assemble and offers value for money. The hi-hat volume on the DED-200 is weak. The kit's sensitivity is adjustable, but the sensitivity adjustments only remove maximum velocity sounds, which can result in crash cymbals sounding all over the place. The throne is not durable and broke after one week of use by a heavy player. Customers recommend purchasing a good throne to avoid such an issue.
