Brocraft Tip-Ups Editorial Review
The BroCraft Ice Fishing Tip-Ups Rod Holder is a great addition to any ice fisherman’s toolkit. It is legal to use in Minnesota and is versatile enough to hold different types of fishing rods without issue. However, it does not come with a way to prevent freezing in the hole so it's recommended to spray cooking oil on the ice hole to prevent ice formation. It does allow the line to free spool while the fish runs if the bail is left open on the rig and the line can be easily adjusted on the clip to make it easy or hard to pull out. This model does not jig on its own and does not automatically set the hook.
