They are really bright just one light, lights up my 2 side by side 35ltr tanks, I have it on the lowest brightness and have to still angle it at the wall so it's not too bright! You definitely will only need 1 and they are fantastic lights too.

    Answer: Hi, I’m not sure. But the light is very intense and is very good for growing plants. If you are using a tank that is bigger than say 40cm x 40cm cube you will need 2. I currently have two of these and I find them very good, but to dim them turn the dial very slowly. Highly recommend. Hope this helps.

    Answer: I don't think the bulb is replaceable, get in contact with the seller if its still not very old.

    Answer: Yes, the clamp part is made of aluminum, and it will not be rusty.

    Answer: I used to have 4 on my 4ft planted tank but lightly planted you could definitely get away with 3 and if you're not happy you could always add another one at a later date!
