Can this be used as a night light to read books just give off white light? Looking for a night light with extra features you see?
Answer: I guess so it was pretty bright at first I turned down the brightness which you can do on the app as was very light normal setting are quite light I use mine when relaxing online or TV at night -

How do you change the star colour from green? I can set the nebula (cloud affects) to different colours but not the star lasers?

Answer: I have mine on from when I go to bed at about 10pm i watch Tv until I go asleep around 4/5am so yes couldn't see a reason it can't be left on but with alexa can set up timer as well so set time to come on or go off or if in child's room on app or alexa you could switch it off on there so wouldn't need to enter child's room or anything plus if it is for a child and you have set up to voice control then providing age of child teach them how to ask for light on if it's for if they wake up to go bathroom can also get smart bulbs I'm disabled so there great they can change colours and can dim bulb I mainly have mine set to 5% this is light enough for me to Potter round and read with plus they last up to 7-10 years as well so good value -

How to get all the patterns and not just one colour on the ceiling?
Answer: You can change the look in the app, also clicking the button on the side has a few look -

Can you play your own music through it?
Answer: No, but after you bind APP account with Google account, you can control devices that support Google Assistant through Google Home series speakers, such as 'OK, Google, turn on light' -
Question:
Does it make a noise mine is making noise like a dripping tap?
Answer: I have my for awhile now and never have I heard any noise. I use this everyday.
