The night light feature can be turned on and off and the intercom volume can be adjusted. However, it cannot be completely disabled. The parental units have a belt clip for easy portability. Although not suitable for use on-the-go, this baby monitor is great for in-home use to listen for your baby's needs. Despite some issues with battery life, missing rechargeable batteries and poor quality control, the units themselves are excellent with great sound clarity, range, and battery life with the added bonus of lithium-ion batteries.
