A wooden platform between the wood and the conveyor can be helpful. The machine requires 550 CFM and has an 8-amp machine and a .6-amp feed motor. The sander can handle 60, 1"x4"x16' pine pieces, but caution should be taken due to the quantity and speed. The sander comes with different grit Ready-To-Wrap Abrasive Strip models. Customers have reported that it does a great job of sanding wood, although it is not very portable. The drifting belt is difficult to manage and the motor is easily dented during shipping. Customers have also reported issues with faulty cooling fans, conveyor drift and adjustments, and the machine not being built square. While some customers report satisfaction with their purchase, others describe the customer service and warranty process as lacking.
