Are these individual or are they strung together?
Answer: All individual. We hung them from lamp posts in neighborhood. We were pleased with them. -
Question:
If used outside hanging on a awning, Will they shatter when the wind blows them around frozen? My old ones did.
Answer: I've hung mine out on the porch two years in a row now and they bang on the railing and pillars when they blow in the hard wind and have not shattered yet. They seem pretty durable. They get wet and snowed on, frozen. They still look nice. -

Do the snowflakes have glitter on both sides?
Answer: Yes, all over. -

When used outside for 3 months of Christmas, will these turn yellow with sunlight exposure? Or do they stay white?
Answer: We used them in our front window, which faces east, and they still look like new. Planning to use them again this Christmas season. I would not be sure of outside exposure, they are delicate. Hopefully this helps. -

Will these survive in the rain if used to decorate a large hay bale?
Answer: The decorated snowflakes are made of plastic, so I would say yes, they are ok outdoors. Some glitter might come off in rain but the flakes will be fine. -

Did anybody try these outside in below 32 degree weather? It states 'these are made of plastic', so I'm thinking they might crack in the cold.
Answer: Pretty durable. No problems with them. -

What are these made of? Are they foam?
Answer: They're plastic and lots of glitter. The same plastic that the smaller ones are made out of. Like if you made them out of a hot glue gun and let it cool. But no, not foam.
