Answer: This unit isn't equipped with the remote control. You could control it through the switches and thermostat located on the right bottom of the body. -

Answer: It’s fairly easy to set up. Open the box, remove the item, look through instruction manual. Only thing you really have to do, is screw on the four legs, put batteries in the remote, read the manual and you’re good to go. If your elderly mom can’t do it, maybe if she has a neighbor they can help? -

Answer: I had to return two of these units almost immediately due to poor craftsmanship and faulty mechanics. I'm avoiding this product entirely. -
