Does the perch have traction so birds can’t slip off?
Answer: Yes it has traction and it works great for my Cockatiel! I’ve been using this now for probably over 3 years and I’ve never had an issue. Took my guy a few tries before he wasn’t suspicious about it and now he loves it! He falls asleep in the shower on it sometimes. Definitely a great product. -
Question:
How to keep bird from falling off? it’s smooth pvc and he slipped right off. would vet tape help?
Answer: Wrap it several times with duck tape. The more you wrap it the thicker the pipe will get, and it will be easier to grip. Duck tape is also water proof, so you’ll never need to replace it. Also, when not in use, just pull out the taped perch (pipe) and leave everything suctioned to the shower.
