Hitbox is an impressive all-in-one welder that can handle four different welding types including MIG, ARC, and TIG (by using a spool gun option for those who want to weld aluminum). In addition, it has a computerized setting that automatically adjusts the settings for material, wire speed and welding type, taking all the guesswork out of the process. Apart from being a portable and lightweight versatile welding machine, Hitbox customer service is highly commendable. On the downside, the wire feed can be a problem, where the awkward method of loading the wire feeder does not allow for accurate wire feed tension causing awkward feeding. Additionally, the MiG torch gas shield can't be removed to replace the electrode, and the manual does not have enough information on how to connect the gas hose for TIG welding or a phone number for technical support. It is also shipped without a power plug, which the buyer would have to buy separately.
