Ocusoft Lid Scrub Foaming Eyelid Cleanser is a gentle and effective solution for cleaning eyelids and recommended by most ophthalmologists. It works by cleaning the eyelids effectively, keeping the lubricating glands inflammation-free along the lash line, thus, keeping the eyes natural lubricants flowing better which in turn can help w dry eyes. It is also a foamy soap so it can help kill bacteria on your eyelids, but the company doesn't promise this. However, the product is recommended by a lot of eye doctors even for people wearing contact lenses every day, and it is ideal for cleaning eyelids and getting rid of eye itching caused by dryness. To apply, put a small foamy drop, about the size of a dime/quarter on your finger tip and gently rub it back and forth against your eye lids (eye closed) for 10-20 seconds or so. Then lean over the sink and use a cupped had to rinse your eye with warm water several times, or use it in the shower and rinse off with the shower spray. It is preservation-free and uses a low-level preservation blend. The product comes in two forms, a foaming cleanser and wipes. Those who prefer to travel can opt for the latter. However, a few customers have reported issues with the pump sticking on the bottle, and once opened, the bottle may leak in a checked bag on an airplane.
