The K&N RG-1001RD Universal Clamp-On Air Filter is a universal clamp-on air filter that is comprised of a cone-shaped, 4-inch cotton gauze filter that delivers high airflow and excellent filtration. It comes with three adapters, one for each of the three main intake tube diameters of 3", 3.5", and 4". Overall, K&N customers have praised this product for its ease of installation, great value, and high-quality material. Customers reported that the air filter helped with acceleration, and it was easy to install. One customer had no trouble fitting this filter on their 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7, and another customer who owns a 1998 Toyota Tacoma V 6 reported having to modify it to accept the line.
