The Boss Audio Systems Phantom Series Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer is a great addition to any car audio system, delivering high-quality low-frequency sounds. It is recommended to wire these subs in a series 4ohm to an amp that pushes no more than 600 to 700 watts from an 4ohm load. The subs are rated 2300 watts peak but rms is 1150, and it is best to avoid bridging them to an amp that pushes 1600 watts. Wiring diagrams for 4ohm dvc subs are available on Crutchfield. The speaker is 8 inches deep, so it may not fit in some truck boxes.
