Answer: It is a regulator so yes. However, it is listed at 15-35v. It may output slightly less than 12v, around 11.4 under very light load. -

Answer: No, this one converts 24v to 12v, a buck converter would do a better job of cleaning the voltage up, but most devices would cause a drop and can handle 13.xx volts. -

Answer: This product will work and does work well. It does have a duty cycle and can only operate for 6 or 8 hours without some downtime without causing damage to the product. I ran one for 30 hours continual. After that, it would not regulate the voltage at 12 volts. It was more like 9. -

Answer: It seems to work on its own as put an outlet with readout and it runs about 13.4 most of the time with only one plugged in. Not to worry as safe contained and works great in Komatsu loader for an XM Radio.
