The dragon is made of hard plastic and has colorful string hair. It stands on its own and is larger than expected. It does not require batteries and does not glow. It is not waterproof, as the tail joint and hair could be damaged. Overall, customers seem to enjoy the product and it makes for a good gift. While some found attaching the tail a little tricky, it was not a major issue.
