Answer: ASI 100% RTV Silicone (ASI 502) can be applied to surface temperatures from -18°C to +50°C (0°F to +120°F). -

Answer: Yes, ASI 502 is a long-term, permanently flexible bond or seal required for many applications. Fully cured, it has excellent adhesion to glass, metal, porcelain, ceramic, wood, most plastics and many other nonporous substrates. -

Does ASI 502 meet any FDA regulations?
Answer: Yes, ASI 502 is permitted under regulations of the Food and Drug Administration where incidental food contact might be involved. -

I want to seal a tree slice to place candied apples on. Will it dry clear?
Answer: Yes, this is Clear Food Grade Silicone Sealant. -

Is this real, odorless RTV, or does it have an acetic/vinegar smell like most silicone sealants?
Answer: I didn’t experience any odor or acedic/vinegars smell/taste from this product. -

Will it seal a savino wine saving tritan plastic carafe? apparently the carafe is in two pieces snapped together tightly and frequently leaks.
Answer: Not sure about chemical burn issue. Acetic acid is the main component of vinegar. It can be used to seal the carafe, but precautions should be taken. Good luck! -

Answer: Yes, it is suitable for use around the sink and faucet in the kitchen. Works very well. -

Will this cure at 40F?
Answer: It can cure at lower temperatures. It has been used at around 40-50 degrees F successfully. -

Answer: Yes, this silicone sealer can be used to fill gaps, cracks, and holes. It dries clear and rubbery. -

Will this work on plastic in the fridge?
Answer: It can be used to seal cracks in plastic. After curing, it can withstand temperatures from -70 degrees F to +400 degrees F. -
Question:
Will this adhere to a silicone gasket? And would it degrade the silicone?
Answer: I do not know. Please contact the manufacturer for specific application questions. -
Question:
Could this be used on a small crack on a crockpot?
Answer: For sealing cracks, consider using DAP 00688 Household Waterproof Adhesive Sealant. -

Would this work for creating an airtight seal on a ceramic canister?
